Vertex Roofing Systems were appointed to install a Bauder Thermofol Roof System at St. Oliver’s Special School in Tuam, Co. Galway. As you will see from the photos, hot air welded standing seam profiles were installed on the pitched roof. The parallel lines of the profile seams on the roof are defined and consistent to represent a traditional metal covering This system replicates a traditional metal standing seam roof. There were some tricky junctions and details on this roof but nothing our crew couldn’t handle and provided a top-class finish. The Bauder Thermofol Roof System also offers a fully insured material and workmanship warranty.
The roof drainage was designed to be external with the provision of external aluminium gutters and downpipes at the base of each slope. This represents the optimal method of surface water drainage in roof design
