This project consisted of various different specifications of Kingspan Insulated Panels. The roof panels that we installed are KS1000RW 80mm core, of which there was approximately 700m2. The wall cladding consists of Kingspan Benchmark Quadcore Evolution Axis Panels 80mm Core which forms the external envelope of the building. An interesting design aspect was the metal feature fin which was installed at the base of the majority of cladding panels on all elevations of the building.
At the main entrance to the building, we were tasked with the supply and installation of the Trespa Meteon HPL rainscreen system. This was installed on a support bracket and rail system along with external insulation fixed back to the blockwork. The panel was red in colour and looked very tidy on completion.
We successfully weathered, sealed, and achieved all buildings to the airtight standards set out in the specification.
This site was a high-risk site – with medium and high voltage underground and overhead electrical services located throughout. the project was delivered with an exceptional safety record and was completed without a single reportable incident or injury
